INTERNSHIPS

Sports Webcasting Network (www.sportswebnet.com) a full service broadcasting outlet for high school, collegiate, amateur, and professional sports offers the latest cutting edge broadcast solution with audio and video webcasts streamed live and/or on tape over the internet.

Our focus is to continue our emergence as a media outlet for sporting events and entertainment in the tri-state area, and as an entity, which recognizes student athletes and their achievements on the field.

Sports Webcasting Network is seeking a number of interns with relevant work experience or a desire to gain valuable experience in the sports media industry.

We are seeking the following types of interns

FIELD INTERNS
• Attend practices and interview coaches and players
• Hang posters and hand out flyers at the practice
• Compile rosters of players
• Interviews would be played during webcast

GAMEDAY INTERNS
• Attend the event assisting in:
o Setting up of Equipment
o Hanging posters and banners; handing out booklets
o Compile game statistics
• Learn game production and camera operation.

PROMOTION INTERNS
• Speak with local newspapers to promote games
• Compile statistics and standings for website
• Write stories and press releases for webcasts
• Compile email lists of fans and players

SALES INTERNS
• EARN Commissions by selling advertising packages to local sponsors
• Develop advertising and sponsorship proposals for audio/video
