Sports Webcasting Network to Launch
Sports Radio Network and T & D Sports Video Productions to Merge
For the past five years Sports Radio Network and T & D Sports Video Productions have broadcast sporting events on television and on the web, as two separate entities, working jointly. This month, the two companies are set to merge together as Sports Webcasting Network.
The move - contemplated for the past year - will be finalized in the next two weeks.
“It makes sense from a number of perspectives,” said Rob Goldenberg, one of Sports Webcasting Network’s Directors and the CEO of Sports Radio Network.”
“I think this past year was critical in our development as an organization. When we discussed marketing our company and branding our organization for the future, merging the companies just made the most sense.”
The partnership, beginning in early 2001 with a joint presentation of an NCAA Basketball Tournament, has continued to grow. T & D Sports Video Productions, a leader in all facets of athletic video production, provided the video, and Sports Radio Network - a full service broadcasting outlet for amateur and professional sports - was responsible for the audio webcast production.
