It is a game greatly anticipated by all hoops fans in the Metro NY area.
Loaded with talent, both regions will do battle to prove who are the
“Kings & Queens of the Court” in Metropolitan New York.

Janet B. Walsh Girl's MVP & Cecil Watkins Boys MVP Awards
The MVP awards are named for Janet B. Walsh, founder of the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation and Cecil Watkins, Governor of NY Metropolitan AAU and President of National Pro-Am, a longtime advocate for basketball of all levels in the Metro NY area. The awards will be given out following the end of each game as voted on by the media covering the game.
Outstanding Achievement Award - Virginia Matthews, PSAL
Virginia's hard work, dedication and innovation as the Commissioner of Girl's Basketball in the PSAL has raised the level and expectations for girls basketball in the Public School Athletic League. Programs like the Underclassmen & Unsigned Senior Showcase and the Developmental league concept exist because of her eadership. Many times coaches and players are awarded this honor and rightly so but another component of a successful team, program or league is the dedicated and passionate administrators such as Virginia Matthews.
